Leading the team is James Rivera is the founder of PacificView Acquisitions Real Estate Group, with over 20 years of experience in the South Florida real estate market. Mr. Rivera leads PacificView Acquisitions Real Estate Group with over 15 years of real-world experience in property acquisitions, dispositions, property management. Throughout his career, Mr. Rivera has been involved in transactions exceeding $500 million, consisting of direct property acquisitions/dispositions and REO properties with investments spanning the entire risk spectrum, property types, and geographical locations. From 2016 to the present day, Mr. Rivera has served as an Acquisitions Analyst for Zillow, Director of Acquisitions for FREA, LLC, and Acquisitions Specialist and Market Analyst for HavenBrook Homes, a real estate investment fund based in Atlanta with offices in South Florida and other submarkets.
Mr. Rivera was responsible for the analysis and the due diligence process of properties purchased in the Miami, Broward County, and West Palm Beach areas. This included overseeing rehabilitation, quality control, and leasing after purchase. During his time with the company, he analyzed over 3500 transactions and played a key role in the purchase of the fund's over 850 homes, a record number for this market.
Before joining HavenBrook Homes, Mr. Rivera was the Director of Acquisitions at PointCap Commercial, a Miami-based commercial investment company, where he was responsible for assisting in all aspects of the company's acquisitions, negotiating and structuring creative financial opportunities for investors and owners alike, and working with specific acquisition criteria to meet the expectation of a profitable exit strategy.
Prior to joining PointCap Commercial, Mr. Rivera was the Regional Director of ERA, a residential real estate company based in Denver with an office in Miami Lakes, Florida, where he served as Managing Broker and Regional Manager of the group. He oversaw over 250 real estate agents and the entire real estate operation in South Florida.
Before joining ERA, Mr. Rivera was the founder of Royal Executive Rentals, where he oversaw all aspects of property management, financing, and marketing for fully furnished apartments in the luxury market of South Florida. This ranged from short to long-term leasing for clients from Europe, Canada, South America, and the US market as well.
Mr. Rivera has been a licensed real estate broker and agent in Florida since 1997.
